With more than 20 years of pastoral leadership experience, ministering nationally and internationally, Ivan’s ministry has been accompanied by signs, wonders, and miracles. Many have been healed, delivered and set free by the power of the gospel. He has served as a church planter, senior pastor, and overseer. In the academy, Ivan has served as dean and as adjunct professor for several leading institutions.
As a scholar, he strives for scholarship that empowers the church. Ivan is also an accomplished business leader, executive coach, and management consultant. He holds a BS degree in Computer Science from Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC, an MBA from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, an MDiv from Northern Theological Seminary in Lisle, IL, and a PhD in Systematic Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. Ivan and Cheri have 5 children. His first book entitled, Sanctified Imagination: Christian Holiness in Afro-Pentecostal Tradition is due to be published by Wipf & Stock in 2023.
A native of Chicago, Cheri has gained valuable knowledge in the areas of miracles and divine healing. As creator and director of the Purposely Created Women’s (PCW) Advance, Cheri teaches women how to experience God’s presence and discern the purpose for which they were created by God. Her biblical preaching coupled with practical lessons on how to live strategically for Jesus, manifest the supernatural power of God. Women from various backgrounds and ages find relief for their troubles, healing for their sickness, and freedom from their bondage.
Cheri attributes her power with God to seasons of suffering she and her family endured. She firmly believes that power from God comes to those who “endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” (2 Timothy 2:3) Cheri holds a BS degree from the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign, and a MA in Christian Ministry from Northern Theological Seminary in Lisle, IL. As an ordained minister, she brings both her secular and ministerial education into her roles as a writer, plenary speaker, teacher, pastor, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
